Laurence Cummings is one of the UK's leading conductors of Monteverdi's works, will be joined by his choice of outstanding guests. This will undoubtedly be an evening to remember.


The brilliance, beauty and power of Monteverdi's music is at its best in his Vespers of 1610, one of the great pillars of Baroque vocal and orchestral music. Full of unforgettable moments, this thrilling masterpiece is one of the greatest classical works of all time.

Christopher Glynn performs widely as a pianist and accompanist, partnering leading singers and instrumentalists in concerts, broadcasts and recordings throughout Europe and further afield. He is a long-standing Vice President of the Grove Park Music Festival and has performed in many of the festivals.

The fantastic RAM Big Band will play a

 selection of rare pieces from the Swing era,

several of which have not been performed

since the 1930s. Think 'Rhythm and Romance'

 and 'Hot and Anxious' and you will be in the mood.
